Amazing: Best infant car seat out of three I tried

For my son five years ago I had a chicco which was decent (I donated it) and then someone gave me a Graco click connect for my newborn. Crack was decent but I didn’t like how the base was so hard to install and seemed loose and also overall it wasn’t snug enough. Finally i realized they don’t make the adapter for this Graco to my Uppababy Vista and decided to splurge. Was Mesa worth it! When they say it’s the only seat with set retracting latch connectors it matters! The base took a minute literally to install and is very secure. The indicators showing that you have installed everything wel are so helpful. The seat is comfy and the headrest is much safer than Graco or Chicco. It’s also light and compact. Popping it onto the stroller was a breeze and i also have a Veer cruiser and they make an adapter for it. I would highly recommend this.

Our daughter was born at term but small (a feather over 6lbs). Even with the small baby insert in the car seat, her head was positioned forward (chin to chest) and it kind of made her look hunched over. We reverified proper installment with the CHP, so it was just an issue of her positioning. I heard the V2 offers more support, so I’d recommend looking into that. Now that our daughter is over 8 lbs she fits well. I think I’d I could go back and do it over again, I’d look into a reclining car seat. Apart from that, I absolutely love how easy this seat is to install and move around!
