Adult coloring books and now this for therapy

My adult daughter wanted this for Christmas. She has moved on from adult coloring books/pencils. I was a little skeptical but I recently did a paint by number so who am I to judge? I visited her yesterday. She immediately showed me what parts she had finished and told me how much she loves the detail, sense of accomplishment and how it slows her down after a long day at work. It is very detailed and intricate and much more creative than a jigsaw puzzle. I hope she does more and puts them together as a spring village decoration. I am surprised that I give it a thumbs up for quality, design and beauty. I think she would highly recommend it. She is 41.

Mostly fun but a few cons

This was fun for the most part. My husband and I do this for relaxation and to get away from so much screen time in the winter. I did like that most of the pieces were snap together and instead of glue, the kit provided peel and stick glue strips that worked better than I thought they would. The light worked well and I liked that the wires were pre-stripped The biggest problem was material quality. Several pieces were broken and the punch out wood for several parts were really warped. They had to be glued together. The directions were really unclear in places, especially for the five drawer chest and the wood was extremely bent for that particular item as well. Frustrating enough to cost it two stars. Mostly fun to build.
