Cuisinart 12" Cast Iron Chicken Fryer

WOW! I found this on sale so, despite a few negative reviews regarding chips in the enamel, I decided to take a chance. Mine was so well packaged, though, I can't imagine how it could have arrived damaged. Because of reports of heavy metal toxicity and some illnesses in our family, I disposed of all of my stainless steel cookware 😕 and switched over to Le Creuset. EXPENSIVE!!!!! I had tried some of the enamel coated aluminum-based Cuisinart cookware and had a very bad experience. HOWEVER, this has become my new favorite piece for a fraction of the cost of Le Creuset! Great for fried chicken, even spaghetti sauce... the size and shape make it super versatile. Mine arrived in mint condition, and cooks like a dream. It's like cooking in my mother's old cast iron frying pan she kept so well seasoned for 35 years right out of the box! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
