Good investment for chronic pain sufferers
By COCO RED on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2021
I saw this on relax the back website at a higher price so I purchased it here for $60 bucks or less with taxes & shipping give or take and it was the last one listed in stock. I suffer from a chronic condition call Dystonia which is a rare incurable neurological movement disorder causing uncontrollable muscle spasms in my head and neck all day long and the pain eventually radiates down to my lower back and buttocks after sitting at work or driving long distances. This has really helped me stay more stable when I lay down to rest or go to bed considering that is when my spasms tend to act up the most. I have a queen size bed and this works good for me. It is a bit bulky but works well so I prefer the benefit of getting better rest over the size. I like it on my bed since I’m a back and side sleeper it really helps my body stay in a more neutral position fir better comfort. If you suffer from chronic pain this is definitely a good investment.

Disappointed

UPDATED: After trying a couple times to make it work, I decided to locate a much larger box and pack and return. It does NOT adjust as specified, and never gets you in "zero gravity" position. If you use this on a bed, your butt sinks in a little, making the ridiculously firm foam wedge hit you in a spot that actually arches your low back and causes pain. Got tired of seeing sitting in a corner, and reminding what a large waste of money it was. Would not buy. My husband has one of the incline wedges with a shoulder space that is very comfortable to use. May buy another of those. Would likely only be good for sitting on a firm surface like a floor to read, not for a bed or sleeping. This sounded so promising. We are trying to hold off buying a whole new bed with adjustable frame for pain reasons. This is firm and stiff, and fairly uncomfortable. It isn't as "adjustable" as it appeared. There are really 2 positions that the base and wedge fit together properly, and they are both WAY too upright to try and sleep. Since it would cost a bunch to send it back, not too mention it would likely not fit back into the box after expanding, we will be keeping it. I am sure we will use it to read, or if we aren't feeling well, and need to sit in bed to eat or watch tv. The knee support is the best part. It is shaped well, and the cover angle under the knees is more comfortable than other knee wedges we have tried with a sharp angle under the knee.
