Magformers Magnetic Construction Systems

What possessed Magformers to release this product that is incompatible with the product that made the company popular in the first place? They are pretty, I'll give them that. But they barely stick to each other at all, so they are not fun for building. And they are totally incompatible with Magformers. The magnets don't line up, the pieces don't line up, nothing stuck well. It was a mess. I really like the creative versions of magformers they have come out with recently, and encourage the company to do more stuff like that - lights, robots, small fun add-on kits... If you want a solid wall for the magformers you have, buy one of the branded sets like teenage mutant ninja turtles or shimmer and shine, and they have a solid piece that snaps into the center of square magformers. The shimmer and shine photo slides in, but you can glue your own photo or something over their branded one and slide that in, instead, for personalized walled magformers. Skip this set. So weak, and only works on its own.
