This Amazon Basics enameled Dutch oven holds its own against the high-end brands. The one I got is this gorgeous deep purple with a gold knob, such a vibe on the stovetop, and the enamel interior is smooth, easy to clean, and heats evenly. I’ve used it to bake crusty sourdough loaves (as pictured), make stews, roast chicken, you name it. It holds heat really well, and the heavy lid traps steam like a champ, which is crucial for getting that perfect artisan bread crust. Is it a Le Creuset? No. But for the price? It’s honestly amazing. Heavy Dutch Oven

This is my first time purchasing a Dutch oven. I have always used a crockpot or my large ninja cooker. First off it cooked everything half the time as what my slow cooker would do. It was all right though.. The only problem that I had with the Dutch oven it is very heavy!! I did have a hard time trying to get it out of the oven. I probably won’t use it a lot because of the weight. A crockpot is much easier to use and it’s not as heavy and it doesn’t go in the oven.
