Solid quality, good variety, and absolutely what it says!

The overall quality of the miniatures in this set is exactly as I expected. They are pre-painted mass-produced miniatures that each look good. As a DM I'm more concerned about having a nice functional representation of the NPC's and monsters in play than I am in a show-stopping stunning individual mini. The Tomb of Annihilation miniatures totally make me happy in this regard. In my brick of 32 miniatures I only had two that I received 100% duplicates of. I've picked up a few individual boosters along the way, and even with those I don't have many dupes. The distribution seems very balanced. Buying more won't leave you stuck with 50 skeletons and 12 unique minis based on my experience. Some of the miniatures are alterations of a base mold, but that's great for me as a DM. My five orcs can all look similar, but not identical. It shows that they are working as a team, etc. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.

Impressively weak and uninspired figures

An entire brick with no huge creatures. Didn’t recognize many of the creatures from reading the first 2/3 of the module. Only notable characters I got are Ras Nsi, who looks… ok, and Arcererak, which is a fair mold but painted sloppily as if it were some minor npc. Smallish large creatures included a boring pterafolk and a gargoyle with 4 arms which is allright but is gray plastic with a faint dry dab of random green - what? Everything else is small, weird and or unimpressive. Oh, and an “invisible” Arcererak - yes, thanks that’s so useful and a highlight of my collection. Wizkids should be ashamed to sell entire bricks without a single rewarding mini. Had better luck with other sets - avoid this one like the spellplague.
