Easy to assemble, sturdy and pretty
By Fadia M. on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2025
One person is able to assemble on their own. Manual and labels were very simply to follow. Seems sturdy so far. I don’t hear any noises thus far. Does a great job and a box spring is not truly required due to the height. As unimportant as it may sound, I was extremely appreciate of the wrench the set included. Not only and funny enough was very pretty for a woman but works perfectly and cut the time of assembly in half. Very pleased . Size is not adjustable , only for king.

Not easy to put together as advertised.
By Michele Elaine Lein on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2020
I'm a single lady alone so I had qualms about buying something that needed assembling. When I had opened it, I knew it was not going to be an easy 20 minute assembly as it advertised. The biggest problem were the two different sizes of screws. The directions do not specify which screws go where, and it was impossible to tell from just eyeing it. So, I asked my daughter's fiance to help me. He's pretty handy at building things from nothing, so I thought it would be easy for him to do this. Well it wasn't, and of course he couldnt tell which screws went where in certain instances either. Also, assembling the long bars that run from head to foot, and are designed to make it super supportive, was difficult because they are the first pieces you put together, and there is no way to line up the two ends perfectly when trying to get it "snapped" together unless you enlist a friend to help hold up the other end, or are strong and steady enough to balance it on one knee whilst simultaneously trying to get the bolt holes line up enough to screw the bolts in. And, the pieces are very heavy. It took my daughter's fiance about 45 minutes, and a big headache to do it. Also, I searched Google for any instructional videos to help with it, but weirdly enough, while there were a lot of other Zinnus models shown, not one of them came close to my exact type. And the others were all truly "snap together", no bolts or screws needed types. I have no complaints about it's quality now that it's together and my 14 inch high, queen size Zinnus memory foam mattress is on it. We even had to leave off a couple of the leg beams that were supposed to support the middle of the frame, for the simple reason that we ended up being short 2 of the screws for the reason stated above. And there was no way he was going to take it back apart and re-do it as it was such a difficult task the first time. It's a great, sturdy platform support, and has ample height from the floor to the platform for under bed storage use. Just be aware, those who aren't naturally handy or strong will probably need a friend's help, and to the people at Zinnus, please make your directions clear as to what screws go into which holes!
