I liked these so much that I bought two. I enjoy cooking and buying gadgets that make certain cooking or food related tasks easier. My old drawer divider was made of plastic and wound up getting punctured all over by the various sharp and/or pointy items, like steak knives, scissors, meat thermometer, shellfish pick, etc. The knife blocks keep the bladed items in check and guard the wood siides from other pointy objects. I like the adjustable sides to make use if the full drawer space, also allows me to create custom compartments on the sides for longer cooking tools, like tongs, etc. My drawers look impressive and so organized. I can see everything in just one glance. I am probably going to get another one formy junk drawer.

Got a Lemon But Hope Replacement Will Be Better

Amazon is great and is replacing the organizer that was delivered to me, but I still have to give the item itself a low rating due to the poor construction of the one I got. (Fingers crossed that the replacement will be better.) The outer packaging looked fine; the inner box looked fine; the organizer was wrapped securely in shrink wrap inside its box. But the second I removed the shrink wrap, it was clear that that was all that was holding it together. One of the corners came completely undone. I thought well, I can glue that -- until I started noticing the other flaws. The little dividers weren't quite long enough to fit securely in the slots, other pieces didn't fit together properly. It just felt flimsy and poorly constructed. But I so much liked the configuration with the room for knives, and most of the reviews were so positive, so I decided to take a chance and get a replacement. AFTER I RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT: Amazon sent the replacement immediately, trusting that the defective one was also in the mail. (It was.) The replacement was better than the first one. It still fell apart in my hands when I first unwrapped it, but at least it snapped back together with apparently no pieces missing, and all the pieces fitting snuggly without need of more glue. Some rough spots. I don't think it is the quality you would expect for this relatively high price. From the reviews, it seems that the workmanship and quality control could use some work, rather a crap shoot whether you get a good one or a bummer. But it looks good in the drawer. I'll let my original rating stand, although for this replacement alone, I would probably be up another star.
