Money to value, this is tops!

So like many people, I am not at a point in my life where I am able to spend the money on a Vitamix or a BlendTec. I understand that you get what you pay for, and I was looking for a good money to value ratio blender to tide me over until I can upgrade. I have always been skeptical of Ninjas in the past, they seemed over-hyped for their price point. What drew me to this blender was the simplicity (3 speeds and a pulse, that's it), and the price point (being a refurb). I took the a gamble, and I am glad I did. Out of the box, everything seemed brand new. Maybe a couple smudges on the pitcher, but that's it. The power is great, and has been making two smoothies a day for the past week with no issues. You won't be fully blended in 30 seconds, maybe more like a minute or two. but as far as a machine that chops things into smaller pieces and mixes them together, this is great. The pitcher is not rated for anything hot, so no soups. And I doubt you could mill flour or anything with it. But if all you want is a smoothie/margarita machine, I don't think you can go wrong with this one, especially at $60. I don't think you'll find anything better under $100. I'll update if I experience any issues.

I will say I loved my oyster blender a bit more than this because it was less noisy, and I liked the way the blades where set up for better break down. What I also miss are the multiple settings on my old blender. This was purchased because I finally blew my Oster Blender and it was a model that is no longer made (sad face). This gets the job done, it does take a little longer for example to get my smoothies at the consistency I like I have to leave it on for 30 secs verses my 10-15 sec in my old oyster blender (clearly I miss my old blender)! This thing is noisy as hell on the counter in the morning but it gets the job done. It did not come with any attachments (looking for compatible pieces). I use my blender for a lot so not having all my fave attachments im used to blows. The fact that I have to do more searching for other pieces is a lil annoying but hubby got it on a sale! Overall im happy but I think I may be looking for a different blender if this does not have the attachments im looking for.
