Not for beginners

I love my silhouette. I started off with a Cricut but I knew a silhouette was capable of more, the price of this bundle was within my means and well worth it. I use my machine daily. While I mostly make T-shirt’s, you can do so much. I’ve made decals, wooden signs, cards, stickers, and much more. The only thing is, the program and machine are not very user friendly. There’s not much instruction on how to do anything, so unless you have prior knowledge like I did you might not be able to figure it out. YouTube is super helpful and has tons of instructional videos and beginner tips and tricks! I would also recommend purchasing the the software upgrade! (Amazon is also your cheapest option)

Good machine, mediocre bundle

The Cameo 3 is worthy of 5 stars. The bundle of accessories is worth three stars at best. The only gripes I have are with the accessories, so I'll address those first. The vinyl and transfer tape are garbage. Pick up some oracal 651 and clear transfer tape as soon as possible. The vinyl that comes with the bundle is just not very good. The transfer tape does not pull the vinyl off the backing. The crochet hook is not nearly sharp enough to do a decent job weeding. Just spend a few bucks and get a nice sharp dental pick.I have no use for the pens, so I can't really comment on those. The squeegee works just fine and stores in the bottom of the cameo. The software works pretty well so far.Overall, great machine. Bundle is garbage, but it looks like the same price as just the machine, but is good for people to learn with before getting better vinyl.Edit: you have to purchase an additional $50 software upgrade to use svg files. Basically any file you transfer from Illustrator. Save yourself the money and just buy a $24 inch vinyl cutter for the same price, with software that will allow you to import from Illustrator. The additional $50 purchase makes this bundle a pass and I wish I would have known that Silhouette Studio will only open a handful of file types, SVG not included.
