Spuddies Potty with Ladder

I noticed a lot of people having issues with this not fitting their toilet, but no one bothered to take/share dimensions and they aren't listed in the product description so here you go! It fits a standard 15-16" tall toilet, however it is only 12" wide and not adjustable in the width direction (technically it's not adjustable in any direction, but you can move the feet out enough to fit different standard heights). Also note, that it's built to fit while the seat is up on your toilet. Pictured is our American Standard which is a smidge too wide for it. If it were a perfect fit, this seat would be sturdy enough, but the width issue makes it pretty tippy on our American Standard. It sturdy's up once there is some weight on it, but my toddler is pretty wary of it for now. I have to hold it steady for him until he gets used to it - which defeats the purpose of giving him independence. It fits our Mansfield toilet perfectly, however we currently have a bidet attachment on that one so that gets in the way and we'll have to take it off. The other thing I want to comment on is the ladder step. Its somewhat flimsy (I wouldn't trust it with more than 50lbs) and it's tilted at a pretty steep angle. It makes it harder for my toddler to get up there. It's made to fit perfectly once he is on - the angle is fine and at a good height when sitting, however, I'd much rather have a safer ladder for climbing. I got this one because the price was right - 30% cheaper than other brands. For now, I don't see that the other brands are worth that 30% difference as reviews suggested they have other downfalls and I don't think it'd make my child use it more, but if they were to go on sale I would make the switch for the adjustability and to have my bidet back.
