Sorbus Walf Shelf set/2

These floating selves look nice and are relatively easy to install. However, the wall anchors and screws provided are not adequate for this type of installation. I mounted these shelves on drywall and used the included anchors and screws. The problem is, I thought, that the screws are a bit too small to tighten in the anchor. They just spin as you attempt to tighten them into the anchor. I then switched to larger screws that I had and they would not tighten in the anchor either. My assumption is now that the anchor is of poor quality and strips easily. If you purchase these shelves, you should either mount them on wood or purchase better anchors with matching screws of appropriate size. In my situation, I cannot place too much weight on the shelves as they are a bit loose because the screws cannot be tightened. My only option is to replace the anchors and screws with better quality ones. The appearance of the shelves is 5 stars. However, the mounting hardware is just one star so I rate this item at 3 stars.
