So glad I pulled the trigger
By Doshcokyco on Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2019
So many bad reviews on this almost deterred me away from buying but with Free returns I decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. First, mine included the reusable filter and spoon/scoop that many said their did not. My spoon WAS a different model spoon and did not fit in the holder on the side. I believe it's an older model spoon or scooper as it has different measurement icons on it. Looks VERY similar but by watching some videos on youtube I saw a little difference. Also, the picture shows the timer on the base, that was not the case for me. It has been relocated to the area where the size dial knob is. Mine does not leak, and it does not appear to be used at all. Was in excellent shape when I opened. It did not come in the original packaging. (not that I care) The tank is a good size, easy to fill, easy to clean. Speaking of cleaning (I have yet to get the clean light everyone speaks of and I make a cup or a half pot every day) I do use filtered water with this and all of my equipment as calcium buildup isn't good for any device that takes water. I believe this has helped my Keurig live a nice and happy life as well. Frother is good, not great. It does not heat. You must put any creamer in the microwave before frothing. This can get annoying after doing this for a few weeks. It does stow away nicely and cleans very easily at it detaches. Button on top is nice and user friendly too. The fold down single cup platform is sturdy and has rubber grips that make your cup feel very secure on the platform. All of the different size options are wonderful as well. The twist knob is hefty and does not feel cheap. XL cup is perfect for a 20oz yeti - leaves about 1/6 left of the cup left for any cream you'd like to add. Drip starts almost immediately for me. I don't leave mine on all day either. I've been very impressed with the speed and I choose "Rich" brew every time and it brews slower but still plenty fast for me. Summary, I think this is a great Coffee system. I like that with the number of scoops I decide I can have a single cup, half craft, or full.

Five beeps of terror!
By Khadene Bookal on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2024
I would never ever recommend or buy this coffee maker again. It starts out great, deceiving you into thinking that making your morning brew is easy and hassle free and it was for a while. But then it stops working with no specific cause. You have to spend hours trouble shooting just to get one simple cup and this is my second ninja coffee maker. The first stopped working so I bought an upgraded one after troubleshooting with no avail. Then that one stopped working too. After running a few cleaning cycles (because it was at least doing that initially), cleaning the sensor areas of the coffee maker, “burping” it, clearing the reservoir of any built-up water, it STILL DOES NOT WORK. I just get 10 seconds of rumblings followed by 5 beeps of horror and then it stops brewing. Super upsetting. Super time consuming and I’m not the only one experiencing this. Now I’m in search of a new coffee maker.
