The profuct is lovely. Its just what I wanted & as described. I've had a few of these and this one seems to be an older version, which is even better than expected. The seal is great and I expect to have this fir a while. The delivery of this item was a study in patience however. It took three weeks & three tries to get this delivered. Everytime it was supposed to come, the day of delivery, Amazon would try to charge my card. The first two times, when it was flagged by my bank, they delayed the delivery another week. Ugh ! The last time I caught a phone call & authorized it, it only took one day. I have never had this issue with any other Amazon order delivery. So be very alert & patient with this seller if you want this very practical lovely item.

I use these OXO Containers to store my horses dry mash and horse cookies in my barn locker. I am quite impressed with how they hold up in such extreme temperatures and conditions! They are airtight and keep everything dry and mold free. My barn (and most barns) are not temperature controlled so they get super hot and humid in summer and then very cold in winter. The mash and cookies stay just as fresh as when I open a new bag. They are rat resistant which is an HUGE plus. Before you say ewww, all barns have rats. It’s prime conditions for them! They like the grain and hay. Some even eat horse poo. Disgusting, I know! What is most annoying is when you buy a new plastic bag of horse cookies or mash and over night the rats will raid the bag. Once everything is poured into my OXO containers, they are 100% rat resistant! Love that! I have had some of my containers for 5+ years and they have held up beautifully! Super high quality! As far as size, I can get a good amount of mash and cookies into them. I can’t stack them as I have limited space in my barn locker but I can fit quite a few on my top shelf. I highly recommend these! If they can hold up to the harsh barn conditions then they will keep all your food fresh in your pantry.

My husband and I have come to love this brand and when we need something, we see if they make a version of it before we look at others. This was no different. The size is perfect for a bread box. It's airtight and keeps the bread fresh. The lid is super easy to use, seals easy, comes apart nicely to clean, and stacks well with like containers to make organization a breeze. Or you can leave it lying flat on the counter like any other bread box because it has a nice appearance. It's very sturdy and seems like it will last a long time with normal use. We live in the country with fields all around us so it's important to keep everything edible in storage containers of some sort. I have several types and so far, OXO and Comsaf are my favorite brands that seem to last the longest and look amazing. I recommend this product greatly. Its versatility is unmatched since the container are square.

Size: I ordered the 4.4 QT for my Mama. It was exactly what she was wanting. It's the perfect size for a 5 lb bag of sugar/flour. I have made another order for an 8 piece set for her birthday. The only negative comment I can make is, I wish it had lables that came with it. Highly recommend!

I got this specifically to store brown sugar, particularly to keep it soft and usable. It doesn't quite hold the full two pound bag, so I'm going to get one slightly larger and use this for something else. It has kept the sugar soft, and it's easier to use than a rolled up plastic bag, so I do like it a lot. I have one for cane sugar as well, and that does a good job.

I bought this to hold instant oatmeal packets instead of stuffing the boxes of them in my cabinet. Being it's height it didn't fit in my cabinet, but since it's used almost daily counter storing is fine as it doesn't take up much room at all.

We have been using Oxo products in our household for over 15 years since we can always depend on them for keeping moisture out of my dry goods and keeping things fresh. This container was an extra we purchased since our old sugar container had been repurposed for another dry good in our household. It is exactly what you would expect out of a quality Oxo container - great plastic materials, sturdy design, Durable, dishwasher safe, and great for easy to use, everyday use. This container became our new turbinado sugar container after we bought a case of organic sugar. Great size that holds over 5 lbs of sugar!
