Great night of sleep

I am so impressed with this mattress. We just moved internationally and left our old tradition spring mattresses behind, it was simply not worth the cost of moving it. I decided to purchase the sweetnight because of cost and convenience, I ordered two, so they would arrive on the day of my arrival to an empty house, how Convenient! (my move will arrive in 45 days by maritime container). I was blown away with the quality of the product and better yet the quality of my sleep!!! Granted we were exhausted but the consensus was unanimous in the house. My two kids slept in one mattress and my husband and I on the other, we all loved it. I could not wait the 72 hours, we slept on them after 10 hours of opening... I can’t attest for the longevity of the product, but a week in and I couldn’t be happier. I’m never going back to spring mattresses again. UPDATE: 5 months in and this mattress still gets 5 stars from me. We ended up purchasing one more soon after initial purchase for my son, we now have 3 of these and everyone loves them. I have had several guests sleep on them and they’re blown away too. I have dropped thousands upon thousands of dollars on a single spring mattress before, you know when you walk into a mattress store and haven’t a clue so you buy the third most expensive one in the joint thinking higher cost , higher quality. That was me . Don’t get me wrong, I liked my old mattress, got 7 reasonably good years on it, but memory foam is much much better. I like a soft , luscious feel , my husband prefers a firmer bed. On a regular spring , we always had to compromise. Somehow, this memory foam gives me the soft , supple feel I like and the support my husband likes. It’s amazing. I reiterate my earlier statement, I’m never going back to a spring mattress.

Really Strong OFF-GASSING!! READ this review**

How are there not more ratings like mine?? I carefully choose this mattress based on reviews, it seemed like this was the perfect mattress. It is not. It arrived late, the box was beaten up and torn. No biggy. Un-packaged the mattress, it expanded to the full size stated. HOWEVER...I noticed immediately a VERY strong smell of chemicals. It's so strong it burns my eyes and nose. I had to research and find out what that smell was and what it meant for me as a new bed owner. I found out: Memory foam mattresses usually have the highest ratings for comfort, durability, and customer satisfaction. However, some memory foam mattress owners have complaints about memory foam’s initial “chemical-like” smell, otherwise known as off-gassing. This unpleasant odor is caused by the petrochemicals used to make the mattress and lasts up to 4 weeks. Ah-ha. There's my answer. So initially, I aired the mattress out for 8 days and couldn't take sleeping on the couch another day so I had to sleep on it. Smell or not. When I wake up in the morning, my clothes smell like it. My bedsheets smell like it, my pillows. Its on everything that touches it. Everyday day I open my window (20 degrees or not) and run my fan trying to push the fumes out. It works, but soon as that window closes and airflow stops the smell is back. The smell never gets better. I am on day 14. Most websites state that it can take 4 weeks. I will wait the full 4 weeks and if this smell is not gone I will be asking for a full refund. I reached out to the company once and in very broken English they told me to just wait, the smell will go away. The mattress itself sleeps wonderfully, it's even and very comfy. By the way I have tried baking soda/vinegar in bowls in room, fans, air purifiers, etc. Nothing helps. Too bad it smells like petrochemicals, burns my eyes, stinks up everything it touches and gives me headaches. WISH I had seen a review just like this one before purchasing, then I would have found a different one. You should know. Especially if you have a sensitivity to smell. Not saying I do, but this is obviously horrid. I will update this rating in 2 weeks and let you know if the standard 4 weeks was enough to stop the off-gassing. Or if the saga continues....
