30" New World Foldable Metal Pen

What appears to be a manufacturing error left sharp barbs that cut up my fingers during initial set up. One photo is a close up on the biggest sharpest barb. 2nd photo attempts to show the poor welding at the problem joint. 3rd photo shows that one of the up and down rod had bent and then poorly soldered. Look at the squares at the top of the pen. 1st on right, is correct spacing, 2nd is too close, because the rod, creating the 3rd box, was bent; creating a larger 3rd box. I'm glad I cut my fingers right off, so I was able to keep my dogs away. I'm hoping a metal hasp will correct the problem. I had order two xpens. I have not found an issue with the second pen. Hopefully this was a rare lapse in quality control.
