This little bugger is great! Tested it by sweeping and vacuuming my best, then turning it on....wow! It sure does pick up a lot. Great suction! We have a puppy and it instantly cleans up the flowing fluffiness that collects on the floors. We chose this brand based on the great ratings and lower price compared to similar, more popular brands. Thankful we did. The timer feature is great too. Set it up to run while you're asleep or gone for a time. It instantly docks itself when finished. Make sure your socks, cords and small items are off of the floor. It will choke on them. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Highly recommend!

Doesn't aggrevate my allergies.

This is a review of a Shark Ion Robotic Vaccuum I've had for 3 weeks. First, info about my house: 2400 sq. ft. of laminate, polished and dyed concrete, and one carpeted bedroom. I've separated the house into 3 parts and vaccuum each part on a different day. So, day one: 20 x 30 ft. polished concrete - this was probably my one and only day to use the vacuum cleaner in this room. The vacuum is just too slow, damp mopping is the most efficient way to clean this floor. Day two - carpeted master bedroom: I actually was happy with the way it claimed this room because it didn't stir up any dust like my upright HEPA filtered vacuum does, so this was great for my allergies. It did a good job on cleaning the carpets, although not a deep cleaning. Day 3 - 30 x 40 foot laminate flooring: took a very long time in this area. Now, as for the problems my house presents for the vacuum, I have 20 chairs which means 80 legs. I also have an eight legged sideboard and 7 tables - dinner, coffee, end. I think that equals 116 legs. And that is the problem. This robot seems to be programmed to make 135 degree turns when it encounters an obstacle. Therefore hitting any of these legs means the robot scoots off in an entirely different direction making lots of 7's and X's and other random patterns. Hense, the looong time it takes to cover the rooms. This is not the vac's fault (maybe the designers?). My advice is consider the way your home is laid our before you buy. I am keeping this (it's too dirty to return) to use just in my bedroom as Iam happy that it cleans the carpet without aggravating my allergies.
