I ordered this to put under my dog's bowls. It was a good size, & the mat was not thin & flimsy. The beveled edges kept water "spills" on the mat. It cleans up great - I put mine in the kitchen sink with hot water & some dish soap, let it soak for 5 minutes, wipe it with a sponge, rinse & dry. It turns out great - looks like new !!

Other manufactures sell stiffer version with higher raised borders for pet mats. This Amazon mat is not ridged at all and the boarders are flimsy and very low.
