Tenergy LED Floor Lamp Desk Lamp

So far, I love this lamp! I've been looking for a floor lamp that could have a height of about 3 feet off of the ground to replace my old floor lamp that broke due to the connection stripping from me rotating it out of my way after I used it every day. The light still worked great but the lamp was ready to fall off because the screw-connection was stripped.After a lot of searching on Amazon, I finally found this Tenergy LED Floor Lamp Desk Lamp that has a gooseneck that may be turned out of the way without it breaking! It also has a weighted bottom that works really well. It comes with three connection rods so it may be used with one, two or three of the rods depending on what height you want. If you want a desk lamp, you would just use one rod. For a craft lamp that ends up being a little over 3 feet high, you would use two rods. For a tall lamp, you would use three connection rods.I crochet every evening and love this lamp because I can pull it around so it lights up my crochet perfectly yet doesn't bother my husband who is sitting in a chair nearby because the light just lights up my lap. I can watch television by looking over the lamp. It is perfect for me!The only thing I wish was different is that the control panel writing is extremely small! I wish the lettering was a lot bigger because my old eyes just aren't as good as they used to be! I really like that you may choose what kind of lighting you want: Sleep, Relax, Study or Reading. The brightness of the light changes with each of those types. Some are more white and some are more yellowish. Then above those buttons, there is a silver bar that allows you to adjust the brightness of any of the types of lighting you have chosen. Also on the control panel is the On/Off button and a 1-Hour Auto Off button, which will turn off the lamp automaticaly after an hour. I also like that it remembers whatever lighting you used the last time, so there is no need to reset it each time you use it.The cord does not go through the connection rods. It simply runs alongside the rods and is attached to the rods with two velcro straps. These straps work really well! The cord connects to the back side of the control panel and has a power adapter that plugs into the wall. This lamp was very easy to put together.So, I am extremely happy with my lamp so far. It looks like it will last for a long time. It is exactly what I need to light up my area when I am crocheting. I highly recommend this lamp!
