Cuisinart 7-Speed 40oz Electronic Blender

On all these blenders it seems like it is the weak plastic parts that make the blender unusable. Stronger plastic parts are possible, remember the old rotary dial phones? Those phones where indestructible, very strong plastic. This product it was the locking ring that holds the blades to the pitcher that cracked and failed, prevented sealing and leaked all over the counter. Warranty service asked for pictures, which I sent and to identify the broken part, which I identified with a copy of their users manual showing all parts and marked the one broken. They said they still could not identify and wanted me to send the entire blender to them to review for warranty service and they would pay shipping to and from and it would only take 3 to 6 weeks. Not very convenient! I use every morning for bulletproof coffee. Does not even seem like a good business decision on their part when all I want is a new locking ring that is more than likely cheaper than the shipping. I would look elsewhere for a blender as Cuisinart does not have very good service after the sale.
