Aigostar Adam - Electric Water Kettle 1.7L

This is replacing on older similar pot that started being fickle and unreliable. We like the lit base as it heats up. I’m not much of a fan of the “filter” they have in the spout but it was easy enough to remove. Water heats up quickly, the same as any 1500 watt pot. My wife likes the white color as it goes with other small appliances in our kitchen. Obviously, this is brand new so all is working well. How long this will last is the big question but I have no doubt it will serve us for years. —Update— After using the pot for a while, I must report the I do not find the handle very ergonomically designed. Although my wife states she thinks it is OK, I find my larger hands are uncomfortable when picking up and pouring the water. I dropped my rating one star because of that. —Update to the update— the more I use this pot, the less I like it. The handle is NOT ergonomic and I find it awkward to grasp. The blue light of the pot is obnoxious when I come out in the morning while still dark and turn on the pot. Also find I do not like the on/off switch being on the handle just below the button to open the top. Anyway, I know these are personal choices but for me, this was not a good purchase and I have since ordered a different (Russell Hobbs) pot paying attention to the design of the handle and choosing one that has the on/off switch as a lever below the handle. The Russell Hobbs we are replacing worked for 15 years!
