3 Outlet 5-Foot Power Strip- 3PK

The product looks clean, compact and the wire used appears to be heavy duty. The product stopped working in very short order, but after the allotted return time. When I opened the case I found that one of the three wires had become unsoldered. I'm not an electrician, and the product listing claims it is UL-Listed, but the bare positive and negative wires are situated very close together; if another one also were to become unsoldered would that cause a fire? My preference would be a device that had the bare wires connected securely to screw terminals. Therefore, I will not repair this one, but will seek a more secure replacement.
