Shockingly Pleased!
By Stacie on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2019
After looking in to several different weighted blankets, I bit the bullet and ordered this 15 pound one. I was hesitant just because I had never used one and didn't want to be disappointed. I AM NOT! This blanket is tremendous! First off, the quality is much better than I had thought. It has several ties that attach the blanket to the cover on the inside, then zips up down one side. The blanket doesn't move inside the cover at all. Most importantly, I can't feel the beads at all. I was at a store and felt a different brand to see what it was like, and I'm so glad I didn't get that one---it was as if I was feeling BBs enclosed in material. They shifted around and gathered together. When I first felt this blanket, I swear I thought they had left the beads out---they are so tiny that you can't feel the individual beads between the layers of fabric. For reference, I am 130 pounds and this one is plenty heavy---maybe could have used a 12 pound one but this will be fine! Now to my first use---heavenly! I have always pulled covers up over me, even when not cold, because I just like the feel. I had no idea that what I was really wanting was this weight! I put it over me while watching tv or in bed and it just feels secure-safe. No other way to describe it. My 21 year old son asked if he could try it and he loved it as well. I'm pretty sure he is going to be ordering one for himself. Even my husband snatched it from me last night and used it while watching tv. Short end of it, if you are thinking of buying a weighted blanket, I HIGHLY recommend this one. I haven't had it long enough to speak of the durability...how long will it last, will the beads ever leak, etc...but from what I can tell, it's a good as it gets.

60x80 NOT a Queen!
By Galvaston on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2022
The single most frustrating thing about this blanket + cover is the false advertising re. its size. If you have the cover fully laid out, it will just cover a queen size mattress. But a true queen size blanket drapes OVER the sides of the mattress. So good luck buying the 60x80 blanket (advertised as Full/Queen) and try to get two people under it. Ain't gonna happen. Second, the actual dimensions of the weighted blanket (note: NOT the cover that comes with it) is a full 2" smaller on the sides, which means that this thing was actually built to *guarantee* that it will bunch up and you'll be left with nothing but a thin cover over your body most of the night. And good luck trying to put it back in after you've washed the cover. Ha! They provide 8 tie-ups where you can tie the weighted blanket to the cover, but eventually, one or more of them will break, which you'll have to sew back on, and others will come loose. Then you're right back at uneven, bunched up blanket coverage. So for these two crucial reasons (misleading size info and lackluster build quality), this blanket just eeks out a 2-star rating, because the weight feels good and the cover is soft. But that's it. Save yourself $100 and get a fleece blanket that's actually a queen size and then throw a heavy blanket on top. This product is a waste of your time -- and money.
