Bruntmor is a new favorite.

This large Enameled Braiser has been a phenomenal work horse for me, and without any issue of chipping or cracking as I follow all directions thoroughly. It it such a beautiful addition to my collection of cookware, especially for enamel. It is well coated, and so easy to clean. It heats evenly and fast just using low heat that my recipes are actually cooking better. This is a company I never heard of, but is now at the top of my list. It is heavy at about 11.3 lbs., plus more with food, but it's size, balance and greatly designed handles make using quite easy. Personally, I do not put in dishwasher nor use metal utensils because I want it to stay beautiful and not mar the finish. Always on my stove ready to use, which is often.A NOTEWORTHY UPDATE: I am so in love with having the Bruntmor braiser, that I recently jumped at the chance to also buy a new Le Creuset 3.5 qt. braiser on a huge sale. I decided to add to my collection as everyone praises it. On my first day as I washed it with just a gentle foam sponge before 1st use, and the interior enamel just chipped off. Due to sale, it was sold out, so no exchanges and if I returned, there was no guarantee I would ever get that price again, so I am now in the process of exchanging via warranty. (Still thinking I should have just returned as my trust has been broken). Meanwhile, my Bruntmor is still perfect and looks like new. I suggest if you are pondering a purchase of Bruntmor, trust all the high reviews and treat it well and follow the instructions. Being Le Creuset didn't guarantee quality, so why pay more? Lesson learned firsthand.

I’ve owned a Le creuset enameled cast iron for ten years and it’s never chipped. This bruntmore has chipped in three places in three months. So, dont expect the same quality, durability or craftsmanship as its more expensive brethren BUT at this price point it cooks, holds heat and performs fine.It definitely needs seasoning before it will cook without bad sticking, but I feel this is to be expected with enameled cast-iron.Incidentally, we found that toasting pine nuts on your enamel cast-iron creates a good nonstick seasoning. While this won’t be a family heirloom piece that gets passed down through generations it gets the job done.I love the retro orange color.
