Cuisinart Classic PreSeasoned, 7 Qt

I love this pot. It's ridiculously sturdy and is perfect at capturing and retaining even heat. Bear in mind that it's a tank! The 7qt is excellent for large boule, party-sized batches of cornbread, or stew for 12. But if you're not cooking for a herd on a regular basis, you'll be much happier with the 5qt. That's the only reason I couldn't give it all 5 stars for versatility: the weight makes it a bit challenging for everyday use. IMPORTANT NOTE: While it says pre-seasoned, you should treat this piece like any other new legit cast iron you buy. Chances are, you're not going to unbox and immediately start cooking. So doing a thorough initial seasoning (or 2-3!) can only make it better.
