Perfect size for baking one round boule. Says its preseasoned but I seasoned again upon receiving. Love this size. Great value for the cost

Not what I was looking for.

Really, really wanted to love this for the price. I ordered the matte black, so maybe the colored versions are different. BUT the interior is simply too rough. I have only cooked with cast iron my whole life, and lean towards staub and vintage pieces, but at times, the cost can be prohibitive. This resembles the new seasoning method similar to lodge. If that’s what you’re looking for, then this is a great buy. For me, I want smooth and the ability for the pot to age to a slick as glass finish that I have on all my other pieces. In my experience, you cannot achieve this with the new trends in “pre-seasoning”. If you can manage to wait, wait until staub has a piece in sale.
