Little chair that could
By Molly Dog on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2019
I was looking for a massage chair that’s small enough to fit in my place as well as my budget. When I came across the iJoy 2.1 it looked promising.I ordered the chair Wednesday and it came in Friday. Super quick. The box was a lot smaller than I thought which had me a little concerned as I’m on the bigger side (6’-3”). The chair went together easily and is pretty compact. To my surprise when I sat in the chair it fit rather well. It’s nicely made and looks pretty good. Its low to the ground and reminds me of one of those gaming chairs. The massage portion of the chair (back only) feels good. It hits all the right points even for a person my size. There are multiple programs on the controller that you can choose from. There’s a latch on the side that’s easy to use which allows you to recline to different positions. When you are done, just pull the latch and it’s back upright for a small footprint. If you ever need to store it, it folds up pretty small. If you dont have the room or budget for one of those chairs that looks like you’re flying to Mars, this small budget friendly chair might just be what you’re looking for.

I've had this chair for 45 days...TWO things are broken already!!!
By Joel F. on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2018
Well, since I'm past the 30 day return policy, we'll see what happens. The recline feature broke (it was a pull cable system that refused to lock when upright and lean back when weight was applied, and would refuse to lock when reclined and auto move forward). Days later, one of the roller bars in the back appeared to have loosened out of place so was uneven with the roller on the other side of your back (I couldn't investigate for repair because I would have had to tear the vinyl to access, no zipper or other cover access). $600 chair! From the moment I got this it 'felt' like a $200 chair, it is only ~55lbs. I am a 16 year user of Amazon and Amazon Prime and I have never been anywhere NEAR this close to disappointed in a product, let along one that is $650. For the record, I had previously owned an IJoy (Sharper Image) massage chair that was leaps and bounds more sturdy and better than this one, and was hoping it would have some of the same magic. That one had an electronic recline feature with a large screw underneath, thick armrests and probably weighed ~150lbs. It was around the same price when I got that one through Sharper Image. I'm guessing the company has taken a 'cost effective' approach to their products since then, since it does not have the partnership with Sharper Image. As mentioned, starting the return/replacement process, will be glad to update this review if I get anywhere with it.UPDATE: Amazon kindly extended window for return (Bought 9/24, broke around 11/5), this product went back and I did not request a replacement. Amazon customer service was great for the return process.
