Fun game for my 6 year old

My 6 year old really enjoys playing Osmo during her spare time. I decided to order a bunch of different games/activities just because they're so educational and beneficial to a 6 year old who's flourishing. She LOVES this game, the story is so visualizing and simple to understand. I'm also starting to discover that Osmo is pretty funny to my kid. She does laugh at certain things. The detective agency game is a must-get as it encourages you to think outside the box and search for missing "kitten" or "items". You are constantly exploring. I absolutely loved the little box it came with organized files and a little magnifying glass. The main aspect of this game is it teaches you more about geography and it does share some fun and interesting facts throughout the game which I like. It does encourage your kid to develop focus and observation skills.

Careful, this app is not compatible with new Fire HD 8 plus!!!

It would have been good to know this in advance and OSMO’s product description should be more clear on this, but this is not currently compatible with the new Fire HD 8 plus tablets. I am dissatisfied because I had waited until after the return date to try this out for my son (he received it for Christmas and was very excited). According to OSMO’s customer support team (who promptly replied to my inquiry) the Fire HD 8 plus is not compatible with the following apps (although their development team is aiming for a Spring 2021 compliance update target for the HD8 Plus): “The new Amazon Fire HD 8, 10th Generation (released in 2020) is currently only compatible with select Osmo games and requires the use of the Osmo Reflector Adapter in order to be compatible with the Osmo Base for Fire. However, please note that our game development team is working diligently to make the remaining Osmo apps compatible with this device in Spring 2021. The Osmo apps that ARE compatible with this device are: Little Genius Starter Kit for Fire (ABCs, Stories, Costume Party, Squiggle Magic) Early Math Adventure Bundle (Shape Builder and Counting Town) Genius Starter Kit for Fire (Words, Numbers, Tangram, Masterpiece, Newton) Coding Starter Kit (Coding Awbie, Coding Jam, Coding Duo) Super Studio Disney Princess Super Studio Disney Frozen 2 The Osmo apps that are NOT currently compatible with this device are: Osmo World Family Game Night Bundle (Lettertopia and Math Buzz) Detective Agency Pizza Co.
