I feared for my life as I recalled the glass bottle of whiskey buried in 10 days' worth of my fiancée's clothes. Hastily unlocking and rummaging through the suitcase, I located the liquor. Alas! Unbroken, unperturbed, my belongings were as good as ever, untouched like a virgin snowflake that had just drifted from the heavens. A small, but timely, miracle.
