High quality, super easy assembly.

So easy to install this caddy. Even easy to get the box open and get the product out. I have pain in my hands and it was very nice to not have to remove a single staple or cut thru tough tape, there was not even a knot that I'd have to wrestle with. I got the box folded and in the recycle in a minute. Oh the product is very nice looking and sturdy. Shelving can be arranged and adjusted easily. My last one lasted 20 years and I expect that from this one also. It's perfect.

Bulky, not flush with the corner, and not quite stable

I've had a few corner shower caddies over the years, and most of them were pretty terrible. So for the last few years I have been using a command (stick-on) shower shelf. Since I recently needed more space I thought I'd again try a corner caddy, and the OXO seemed to be the one to get. I will say it was very easy to assemble and install. It has an internal ratchet system that keeps the pole balanced -- as you extend the lower part of the pole, the upper part extends that same amount. However, the tradeoff here is that the pole is very large. While it looks like it could hold a lot of weight, it is very thick. Further, the thickness of the pole and the shape of the ends of the tension rod (which are oval) mean that the pole doesn't sit all the way back into the corner. So you can expect about 1/2 - 1" of wasted space between the shelves and the walls. Unfortunately adding to the problem is that the center section of the pole (to which the shelves are attached) has a lot of looseness to it. What that means is that as you take things on/off of the shelves, they flex, wobble, and wiggle a bit (especially side-to-side). At the end of the day, I had to return it. I think that I will stick with adhesive-based shelves that are directly fixed to the walls. I can get much of the same storage capacity, but with the wobbling and without the pole.
