Great machine - good value bundle

I use this in a sign business and it is awesome. There is a rather short learning curve (that means harder), but there are large number of videos on the web that will get you there faster than trying to figure out things by yourself. I also joined the Silhouette Design Store as a Premium member. I think it is worth the $20 a month. It includes downloads that more than cover the cost. I have not had one of the competitor's machines, but I did review their product before making my decision and most importantly their software. I do not like it and I have spoken to many that have switched to Silhouette based on the software alone.

Harder to use than exspected

well it show do image and simply send to machine I have out of dozen of cut attempts got like 3 items to cut right .One was a circle . Also it chopped the top of my mat to pieces making it hard to use. I have tried adjusting setting to make cuts lighter and tried several materials .I know it has higher learning curve than I expected I even printed the 350 page manual out so could do quick trouble shooting check debating now whether to keep buy another mat or send back
