Amazon Brand - Goodthreads Men's Skinny…

This is definitely a skinny fit. I was on the fence when I saw other reviewers saying that this was a slim fit. I think they’re thinking of skinny TAPERED fit pants, because these are absolutely skinny cut, just not skin tight at the ankle. I’m not sure why someone would even want dress pants that were that tight at the ankle, that would look absurd (in my opinion, of course). These have a good weight and good construction. The only real complaint I could see someone having is that the rear seam would probably give someone with a bigger butt a wedgie, it’s not a problem for me but it is very tight on the posterior. I love the pattern and can’t believe how inexpensive they were. They are every bit as nice as the other slacks in my closet that were priced around $90. I’m sure the reason they are so much cheaper is because of the fabric, but honestly I’ve gotten to where I want stretch in my pants more than knowing they are 100% wool, because from looking at them you can’t even tell the difference. This is I think my 4th pair of pants from goodthreads, and I’ve purchased many more various clothing items from them, and so far I haven’t been disappointed at all. In fact, my favorite chinos are from this brand. It’s crazy that I can get dress pants pre hemmed in exactly my size for such a small amount of money! Also the fact that these are MACHINE WASHABLE AND CAN BE PUT IN THE DRYER are huge high points. It’s very annoying to have to make trips to the dry cleaner for slacks, and much more expensive than washing at home. I can’t yet say how well they breath in the warmer months, but they aren’t lined or anything and are very similar to chino weight fabric. other than the plaid design I think the biggest difference is these have a crease down the front. These could easily be worn casually or in the workplace. I probably wouldn’t wear plaid pants to a formal gathering but that’s just me. the pattern and fit of these are both very dignified. Highly recommended!!
