I recently tried the Amazon Basics Cat Litter Pads, and I’m so impressed! These pads are a total game changer for managing my cat's litter box. They fit perfectly in most litter boxes, making them incredibly versatile. The fresh scent is subtle but effective, helping to keep the room smelling clean. The PE film does an excellent job of preventing leaks, and the odor control is top-notch. Clean-up is a breeze since the pads absorb moisture and odors efficiently. Plus, the purple color adds a nice touch to my cat’s setup! Overall, I highly recommend these pads for any cat owner looking for convenience and great performance.

A viable budget-friendly option

They do effectively hold a good amount of urine but they fall nearly an inch short of the tray size compared to the brand name Tidy Cats version (second photo is zoomed in for clarity). That said, if I carefully centered them in the tray and consistently changed them on time, I did not have any leaks as a result of this shortcoming. When changing them out, I did notice the urine odor was quite pungent BUT it wasn't noticeable when the tray was in place under the box so I would say odor control is acceptable, just hold your breath when changing the pads .. haha. I prefer the brand name myself but these will get the job done in a pinch if you're trying to find a decent money saving generic. I would definitely buy again if I find myself needing to pinch some pennies again in the future.
