The sofa is easy to assemble (screw the 4 MDF legs and snap the armchairs/backrest onto the main sofa) however is very heavy and might need a second person - I put everything together by raising the sofa on a long box and tilting it to one side). However I would not recommend it, and we had problems from the very beginning: - the seller sent the sofa with delay and received it 10 days later with Amazon only apologising we did not get it in 4 days as it said on their site - very difficult to sit watching TV on chairs, as we moved into a new place and did not have a sofa or a table (another seller messing us with this) - the driver left the sofa outside the main door, so I had to drag it myself (a small woman) inside - the sofa had the arm rests different than in the Amazon pictures (the arm rests there were very elongated): nothing like the sofa we have received - the arm rests had both the sponge destroyed underneath the fabric: imagine having the arm rests with a 'valley' in them and not straight. I suspect this will get only worse! I doubt the seller would put such a sofa in his house, why would he sell it to us like that? - others complained you cannot 'curl' on the sofa - well, that is true: this is more like a waiting room sofa, unless you are a very tall man and can put your feet flat on the floor and have your back rested on the sofa - as a smaller woman I could not achieve the same, so I was in pain due to my medical problems not being helped with such a sofa!!! - even if you put your whole body on the sofa with legs rested on it, you are not relaxed because the sofa is rather narrow We were so tired of all these problems we noticed in a few days, we decided to go out there and 'try' some sofas - they were so good by comparison straight away we purchased a sofa almost double in price. Worse, the seller created so many problems with the label and expected us to go to the local UPS store to return the sofa which we could not. Then Amazon persuaded the seller to organise pick up from our place: despite many calls, the seller put on the label the name of person who does not reside at this address - no idea how the seller 'picked up' the name of this person, however we had enough, printed the label, affixed it to the package and let's hope somebody will turn up to return it to the seller. Even Amazon had enough of them and already reimbursed us.
