Secura Stainless Steel Electric Kettle

This was linked as a "newer model" but is a significant downgrade from the previous 1.7 L version. Compared to the my previous kettle, this one: - Feels cheaper (especially the lighter base) - Has lower power (900W vs 1400W). - Uses a harsh blue LED (previous version had warm neon indicator) - Has a less convenient opening mechanism On the plus side, the lower size is nice since I never needed to boil 1.7L. And the lid opens more completely for cleaning. And it is still the nice insulated design with metal interior and what seems to be the same switch mechanism and protections.
