6 months of solid use
By James Reynolds on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2021
after using this item for 6 months now I decided to finally review it. I will break this review down into 3 parts. First part is usage. The dish is easy to use as it has enough space to cook a meal for up to 5 people. The depth it has can hold juices or grease if your cooking something large like a ham or chicken in it and it still has room for flavoring like cut onions, carrots, or potatoes. Making a lasagna? no problem it can make a 6 layer easily. Casserole? it was made for it! It can make a nice flat meatloaf, a small batch of cornbread, a nice batch of brownies, or just to reheat some fried chicken. The handles on the side are great too, it's nice to be able to grip something with oven mitts so you don't end up dropping it or dipping the tip of your mitt into whatever you're cooking. Second part of the review is durability. Using this dish back to back cooking 5 items in a row over a 6 hour period and it held up beautifully. You can sit it directly on the oven rack and the design disperses the heat evenly so it doesn't crack or explode. the bottom has a beveled outer edge to put the weight of whatever your cooking on the walls of the dish and not the bottom. In a sink as it soaked it withheld the weight of a ton of dishes being on the bottom and didn't crack or break. Inside a dishwasher it didn't chip or wear off the coating. There are no scratches or surface marks it still shines after washed. Third part is upkeep. Very easy to wash even after the stickiest foods with a 5 minute soak in warm soapy water it comes clean or you can just throw it in the dish washer for a quick and easy cleaning. Storing it is no problem as it can be put in the bottom of a stack of dishes or hung by one of its handles. It doesn't need seasoning or any special treatment and there is no need to separate it from your pots and pans. Final thoughts: A nice size for a single person, a couple, or family of 4. Simple design that goes with any cookware. Not one of those cheap Chinese glassware. I will come back at the 1 year mark to update if any of this changes, but as for now I'm very happy with this product.

NOT Oven safe to 450
By D Darkman on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2020
Beautiful item, seemed well made. But it cracked when baked at 450 degrees. (Yes, I am sure of my oven temp, a relatively new, major brand oven whose calibration I have checked with an oven thermometer.) Granted, I cooked this dish at 450 exactly, for half an hour, but it came out cracked through and through, leaking all over the place. If you plan to use this at temperatures no higher than 350 I would say go ahead and make the purchase, it appeared very well made, no surface flaw at all, and frankly, really really nice looking, would be great as oven-to-table. But if you want to go to higher temperatures, I personally would not risk it.
