The broom is obsolete..

I'm truly happy with this purchase, works well, the only issue I have is that I can't rename the vac through the Alexa app. Awesome vac it's been programmed to do its work and does it remarkably well, easy to use and easy to set up.

Worst Robot Vacuum I Have Ever Owned
By A on Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2022
I purchased this robot to replace an old Deebot device I had for years - no problems, no mandatory WiFi connection, just straightforward. Unfortunately, my old device managed to do the inevitable - run through some dog dung while I was out getting groceries. What a mess. Instead of cleaning it, I threw it away and bought a new vacuum. Big mistake. This is my SECOND device. The first one stopped working after the second day and would randomly stop in the middle of the floor, and send out various annoying beep percussions - apparently, each sequence has some sort of corresponding morse code you can look up in the manual. I did. Every time the robot sang a different tune, and perplexed, I reached out to support. Frustratingly, the company offered for me to ship this robot to them, on my dime, so they could take a look at the issue. According to their support team over a string of unhelpful back and forth emails, clearly a misconstrued jira/zendesk/awful system with a new rep following up every time - there was a wheel issue. They could fix it. Why did it need fixing? It was NEW. I opted to purchase a new one from Amazon. I didn't want to wait weeks while my vacuum was in the robot infirmary, hoping to get a better device back. Shame on me. The new robot does the EXACT SAME THING. No string/hair in the wheels or brushes. Barely any dirt in the dust compartment. It just doesn't want to work. It's lazy - and it was clearly programmed to be so. I have a $70 robot that I've been using for the finished basement. It's the outcast of the group - not at all shiny, a basic remote, no WiFi - and it never seems to have problems.... This is the last Deebot purchase I'll make. Guess the extra money spent on a real Roomba would make more CENTS.
