Nice looking, strong material

This is a nice looking bag even though ours is a dark forest green canvas like material with the brown leather like trim. The material is strong but I'm not sure how well the zipper will hold up, it can stick when zipping. But it is perfect for a carryon bag for a weekend trip. We were hoping to use it for a three week trip but it is slightly smaller than what is allowed on most airlines plus it's tapered from bottom to top. We want to take as much as we can on a carryon (yes you can pack a carryon for a three week trip). This unzips completely across the top and down the sides. While that makes it a little less secure it does make it easier to pack and unpack.

I missed that this was leather when I chose it. I saw canvas and somehow didn't really read the description. I don't buy leather bags, typically, as I prefer not to have animals die for a bag. This is a nice looking bag that arrives with a terrible smell to it. I had it out on the front porch for 3 days, and I can still smell it. It's a good size for weekends and seems to be sturdy, but I won't be the one using it.
