I was so scared to see if this would work, and it did! We had potatoes on the bottom, chicken in the middle, and green beans on top and the heat level cooked everything perfectly! This is the best value for your money and so easy to use! The easiest part was honestly how easy it was to clean after we cooked! Plus, it looked chic in our kitchen during our events!

Finish after two uses is dull now.

I love this product. I wanted one so bad to help me with my canning. I truly love it, but the finish on the inside is very dull now. VERY dull. It looks like I scrubbed it with something abrasive, which I didn't. Just my dish brush, soap, and water. If you want it to stay "pretty" you may want to reconsider. Or maybe this is just what happens. Like I said I really wanted one of these and have taken such good care of it because I am grateful for it and need it to can. But not happy with the inside looking "gray" instead of black. It is truly incredible. 11.12.2022 after three uses the finish is extremely dull. One more, I SAS making chili sauce, which is red. After letting it cool I had black swirls in my chili sauce from the finish. My Neck is so important to me, saved money to buy it! I stir every 15 to 25 minutes. I cook at 250 degress. Not once did it ever scorch, but I am very concerned for the finish! Finding it in my sauce after 12 hours and $100 of ingredients, I am really upset!

This Nesco is nice and works well. The size is nearly perfect. It is convenient and the large capacity allows me to put as much or as little of a meal in it as I want. I love the rack in the bottom of it and the unit itself has a good, reliable even cooking area. It's been perfect and when this one goes, I'll buy another.

Bought this as I was freaking out about 1st time hosting and making all the things for thanksgiving (vs ordering in previous years!). We have one oven and timing everything can be a challenge. After reading reviews and seeing harsh chemicals in other roasters we picked this one and it delivered! Turkey was done early (so we needed to catch up on other things) or know to cook a little later. It was moist and great! I was most worried about it being dry but even my honest sister said it was the best turkey she has ever had! I am so happy with purchase and plan to use for other gatherings with large portions! Easy to clean following for bonus perk!
Works like the one I replaced. Insert pan sides that extend over and under the lid get very hot.

I would have given 5 stars if the cord wasn't so short. What's the point when you are resorted to using an extension cord? This works great. However - the sides of the insert pan get very, very hot. This includes the sides that extend out under the lid. I flipped a turkey half way through cooking so that the breast was facing down for the remaining time. The bird was touching the sides and was stuck. I had to wrestle with the bird and it caused me to touch the side with my wrist. These burns are a week after I slightly touched the rim of the insert. I would be very concerned about children around this roaster. I do not remember having this issue with the old roaster I replaced. It was hot to the touch but not hot enough to cause burns at a slight touch.

Love this for slow cooking bone broth. Easy to use. Light weight. Only thing that could be better is if they made a stainless steel pot to insert inside instead of using the enamel coated one.

Love the large size! Very easy to use and clean, great heat levels for fast or slow cooking, the best part of this product is you can cook up a lot of food in it at one time so there is less pots and pans to clean up after cooking, and it is not to heavy for its size. I used to have to use 2 slow cookers now it only takes this one!
