Bumkins Baby Utensils Set

The product is overall good, and might be great for some. But it is not the best for my 8 month old. We are working on chewing and the design of the spoon triggers the sucking reflex like a pacifier. (We have not worked with the fork yet.) It must be the guard because spoons without the guard she will put in her mouth and pull out. This one she sucks to pull the food off. It is easy for her to hold, which is why I purchased it, but ultimately I will use others that challenge her instincts to put the spoon in, take it put, and chew.
