These are not sturdy at all. However, I knew that when I purchased them. They are made of cardboard and cloth. These minimally fit the storage need that I have. I purchased them because they easily camouflage in the area that I'm using them in. I am only giving them 3 stars because, even though there are two storage containers in the shipment, there was only one fabric covered piece of cardboard to stabilize the thin cloth bottom included in the shipment. That means that the bottom of one container has a very thin piece of cloth which is not strong enough to maintain the shape of the box (it collapses in on itself) nor hold items while you move it. Amazon doesn't accept returns for this item and says to contact the supplier directly and, frankly, I can't be bothered. I'll cut a piece of cardboard to fit the other one and just deal with it. These are not worth $22-$23. I was having guest and was desperate for a quick fix. Aesthetically, from a distance, they look nice.
