50 Pack Cardboard Craft Tube Rolls

These are what the description provides. I needed them to roll something that is wet around them and they held up. They are sturdier than a paper towel roll and I will be able to reuse them several times before they wear out. They are a good value.

I needed sturdy paper tubes to make Tick Tubes, a way to reduce the number of ticks in your yard. I needed sturdy tube that would hold up to dampness and rain. Regular toilet paper rolls are just too thin, they fall apart when they get wet. These are perfect. Tick Tubes are filled with permethrin, (a natural insecticide). soaked cotton balls. When the balls are dry, you shove a couple into each tube, then place them every 25 feet or so. Some recommend you place them 50 feet apart, but I’ve had better luck with 25. Rodents, a primary carrier of multiple tick species, find the tube in their territory and realize that the cotton ball would be perfect nesting material. They bring it to their nests. There, the insecticide kills any tick in the nest, and on any mice living in that nest. Mice, Chipmunks, Voles, they all carry the permethrin cotton balls back to use in their nests. Birds might find one too. They’re another vector of Ticks in your yard. I did the a few years ago and my dog had a lot less ticks latch onto her those years. They lasted three years. I highly recommend these sturdy heavy paper tubes for all your projects. They’re great!

What can I say? Strong tubes that are great for preschool projects. My students made a tunnel system on the back of a shelf in the classroom for pom poms. They held up great and didn’t get crushed. I would definitely buy again.

Not to much more sturdy than paper towel rolls . Price is pretty high for what you get in my opinion .

SO thick and sturdy. My kids are getting tons of crafts done with these-their ideas just keep flowing. I used a bunch of the larger ones to make my own Harry Pootter Hogwarts Great Hall floating candles. Worked amazingly well

I like the thickness of them but they were smaller than I thought.
