Furinno Simplistic Set of 2 End Table

For me, bigger than expected is a bad thing, but for others it might be great. However I wouldn't give it a bad rating for that. I simply didn't take the measurements provided into account. There are some rather frustrating downsides: the whole thing smells, BAD. It's like some unholy combination of citronella (which I normally like) and industrial chemical. I'm hoping the smell eventually wears off because this is meant to sit beside my bed.It's also slightly damaged, and that looks to be an artifact of its production, not the shipping. The edges of the top and bottom slats are rough, and extremely uncomfortable to touch. I may sand them down and take a marker to the resulting scratches on the particle board. On the plus side, using a Sharpie will smell an entirely different kind of awful, but it's still better than the way the damn thing smells now.Positives: despite the fact that it has plastic legs and feet, the way it's put together actually makes the whole thing very sturdy. I only have about 5 lbs on it now, and it's sitting on a wood floor, but it hasn't so much as wiggled. It also looks very nice. Just crossing my fingers that the smell fades because otherwise this thing is useless. It's nauseating.
