A luxury that quickly becomes a necessity.
By Samuel Clemens on Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2025
Best product I have bought in a long time! I thought this was a cute idea but it's almost a necessity once you get used to it. It keeps my coffee the perfect temperature to the last drop! The temperature is adjustable and the readout on the front can have your name show up (you put it in from your app) - also helps with knowing whose cup is whose. I originally bought for my RV but now use it in both my house and for travel. Seems to charge quickly if I have forgotten to place it back on the charger. I am extremely careful to not have the bottom of the cup be wet before setting onto the charger (per manufacturer advice if you want it to last) so be careful of that. I don't find it difficult to wash as I only drink black coffee and tea in it. It has reduced the mugs that we used to use during the day to zero because we each use and then wash our own. What I thought was a definite luxury item has quickly become my necessity. Great product. I hope it lasts a long time.

Luke Warm'ish Coffee & TERRIBLE Controls
By JustADude on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2024
This is stated on the Amazon page but I missed the significance of it. The top temperature is 140 degrees. For perspective, Keurig dispenses coffee around 165 or more and searching revealed that many "coffee experts" recommend hotter than that. 140 just isn't hot enough to be enjoyable. The controls are a case study in form over function. They are beautifully embedded into the cup. Personally, I can't imagine a better aesthetic. Working them, however, is a nightmare. Just getting them to show up is a challenge much less operate them. These two fatal flaws compound. The controls are a bit better and somewhat manageable after about 20 minutes when your coffee has cooled to lukewarm. In the meantime, they are virtually impossible. So, here's how it goes: 1) Insert wonderfully piping hot coffee 2) Have absolutely no control over anything and just have to wait 3) At some point, take a sip and notice that your coffee is outright cold. 4) Now you can, with luck, get the controls to come on and tell it to reheat your coffee up to 140 degrees. If you have access to a microwave during your coffee enjoyment, it is FAR easier and better tasting to use a regular mug and just nuke your coffee for 30 seconds if it gets cold. I strongly recommend against wasting your money and this flawed device. Manufacturer: I LOVE the idea of this mug. Please crank it up to 160 or more max degrees and put some actual controls on it. It's OK if they aren't perfectly beautiful. The first priority is that they work. (In other words, step up, stop letting attorneys and product designers run your company. Re-take control and prioritize customer experience and operations.) If you make those changes, I'd buy it and would, I admit, pay even more for it.
