Don’t start pulling out paper yet and leave outside packaging paper on refill roll until refill roll is finished being placed on roller. Assuming product has not been damaged by shipping, then begin process by picking up refill roll by the outside surface of the refill roll, and look into the inside of roll from the end that has the display hang up tab with the hole in it. Determine where the first sticky sheet is stuck to the paper inside. (Sometimes it is not stuck at all and paper can be pulled out slowly and easily but don’t rush process. ). Next spray a very small amount about a half a squirt, of a solution of little liquid glass cleaner product, or a diluted soapy dish soap, directing the spray to where the sticky sheet is stuck to paper while holding refill at a slightly downward angle to allow solution to flow downward. CAUTION—Don’t spray too much solution, only a little squirt or paper will fall apart. Next, slowly, carefully, tear off the paper tabs that are folded over at the end opposite of the product hanging display tab of the roll. Be gentle because sticky paper will become stuck worse to paper if not done carefully. Next, turn the paper insert to left or counterclockwise. Counterclockwise only or sticky sheet will get more stuck. Slowly! If sticky sheet is still stuck to paper insert inside, then try to re move sticky sheet off the paper from each end using finger or a tool like a pencil. This will help the solution to move under sticky sheet more. If not releasing from paper spray a little more glass cleaner or soapy dish soap again toward where stuck to paper. Continue this process until you are able to turn the paper insert counterclockwise and it will then slide out. Then, spray a little more glass cleaner inside roll and slide the roller tube piece into refill roll. If paper severely stuck to sticky sheet, or if paper falls apart, then it is more difficult and not easy to finish the process. If it is stuck badly or paper rips apart too much, then begin by pulling out paper and sticky sheet will follow out. If you rush it will get more difficult. Next cut off excess sticky sheet that followed paper out and spray glass cleaner onto roller itself, and push roller into refill, but if gets stuck, then pull sticky paper out one end as pushing roller into other end. Lastly cut off excess sticky sheets that were pulled partially out while inserting roller, and finish centering roller inside refill roll. Remove outside packaging paper. Now ready for use once roll is snapped back onto the roller frame. NOTE: Once any overspray of glass cleaner has dried off off sticky roll the stickiness will return to sticky sheets.

Terrible packaging!!

Great product, terrible packaging!I don’t use this on a roller as intended, but if I had to, I’d send it back. The “tube” was flattened and the cardboard insert stuck to the tape so when removing it took a ton of sheets with it. This is the second time this has happened. I won’t be ordering this from Amazon again.
