K&H Pet Bucket Booster Car Seat Gray

Okay seat for my 7-pound Yorkie, but why is it marketed for the dangerous front seat with airbags?! If you dont put an infant seat in the front, why would you put your pet there? (It works fine on my SUV's split back seat, although the attached tether is far too long for my little guy, allowing too much movement. My dog could have been badly hurt when he climbed out of the seat due to the overly long tether. I had to use a second, shorter tether to keep him safe. Be aware of the potential for life-threatening injuries caused by airbags in front seat or by connecting the tether to a collar (neck injury, strangulation). Seat would be better if front was more rigid, as it collapses under my pup's weight if he leans in it with his little oaws. It is nicely lined and fairly cushy. I wanted to love thi seat but I just don't.
