K&H Cuddle Cube Pet Bed - Large

I have ordered several of these beds over the past 2-4 years. The size is great for my dogs (a thin 40 pound mutt and a thicker 65 pound Lab) and they really love the beds. But, the beds are not durable; the insides compress and lose thickness after a few months, the covers shed and become threadbare when the dogs are scratching around trying to nest. Because the insides don't last, tying to get new covers is pointless. And also because the insides don't keep their loft, we end up having to double up the beds after a few months. Lastly, the price of $100 is just ridiculous for beds of this construction and quality, and they didn't used to be so expensive. And other beds we have, with better covers and that hold up better, are significantly less. Bring the price back down to $50-60 and get better stuffing and cover quality, and I'll be back in a flash to purchase.
