Oh wow. This belt has literally saved my loved one from falling in the short amount of time that I have used it. I love that it has multiple handles which has enabled two people to hang to him securely. The hand straps are large enough and flexible to use with ease. They are stitched on so well that I don't have to worry about them failing. The wide band is padded and comfortable when in use. The adjustable clip is a little hard to open so I use two hands but I know it isn't going to slip open. I liked that it was available in several sizes. The fit was perfect. I care for him alone and with this belt I hope that I can continue to do so. I studied several brands and I believe I made the best choice.

The velcro isn't long enough to attach

Velcro isn't long enough to attach for a more secure belt. It is OK if your a 28 inch waist but not for a large person. You have to rely only on the clasped section. Makes more sense that a larger person would need the extra strength in the Velcro attaching for a true 48 inch length as stated in the description.
