Sunvivi Triple Slow Cooker

I like this, but ... I bought from Amazon's used bargains. Okay. Its good from My testing it to ensure it works properly. My problem is the top & bottom are made of PLASTIC. I'm almost positive it is heat-resistant, however, THE CheMYSTERY ODOR. Smells very similar to chemicals a Clothing Dry-Cleaners use Perchloroethylene (Perc). Either way, I continued testing this slow cooker for about 12 hours figuring the odor would eventually die down. It did, but not 100%. I didn't get any noticeable ill effects from odor. I had My windows open on a summer day anyway. Hopefully it will completely fade/dissipate gradually with each usage.
